with spear u get hp with ice u get a lil bit of defence

u get a low snow shield for emergencies, and that hp u gain is almost insignificant at higher lvls if its only at lvl 3.

lol ... yeah ... just enough extra hp to suck the last pot for that vital final KD+stabbbbbb? may be good enough.

between cold and spear for 30, i'd probably go for spear. that mana shield may just suck me out of mp for any attack. also, mana shield only last for 120sec. +HP passive stays, rain or shine.

i do think mana shield is bad for str char if they have crappy mp
u wont be able to do anything against a strong nuker/wiz/rogue
just em with a normal attack an imbue

I'd have to say go w/ 30 ice, like the others before me said

the xxx amount of hp you get from the low heuksal mastery is insignificant ....like CLOT said, when you get damage from opponents in the thousands, 300 give or take, isn't gonna make much of a difference.

and with a snow shield, you'll reduce the damage you take, but you gotta make sure you got enough int / mp on your gears if you plan on using your skills as well.

basically, I'd take a lil bit more defense over a little bit of hp anyday.

pure int nuker nuke 8-10k, 20% its 1.6-2k mp
at 80 full pimped now i hv ard 4k mp, stil 2k mp more to use skill and 90 cap u get 6 int blues instead of 5 and 600 mp instead of 400

i think it is bad enough. because the mp potting may not be fast enough to allow you make your next attack. the skills and imbues used at higher levels are quite mp drinkers.

Go with ice.
HP increase won't help you much if you are under heavy attack.
On the other hand, snow shield will save you most of the time.

Greater the attack, greater the snow shield benefit. Must have skill for all CAPs. However, at later CAPs, you won't even notice the HP increase of heuskal.

ok to put it simple, i hv a 80 blader now, i cant survive a wiz meteor (wif life control +5 staff) or a dagger on DD
but i can survive them with 25% snowshield and win most of the time

that 350+ hp wouldnt help survive any of those builds in any way...
its not about talking, u need to try to feel it =.=

i prefer a Pure str Blade/Light only (for after 100 cap) since bladers need to be able to catch up with their pray (Ghost Walk Phantom)
