the best build?

when reaching high lvls whats considered to be the strongest build anyone have any opinions of what they think the best build is?

The most people say either str blade or str glavie. But the more I see hybrids the more I think they are pwnatsch. Magical damage is very high with a spear or sword.

Hmm I'm always afraid to come short on mastery points with hybrids as you really need to keep atleast one weapon mastery maxed ^^. For now maybe they rock, but when you're lvl 90 you'll prolly have around: 90bicheon(or heuksel)/90fire/60light/60cold or something. Meaning that compared to other pure ints or pure str you still lack a bit basically because you had less points to put in other mastery's.

*there is no such thing as a "best build", otherwise everybody would make that one lol.. every build has it own + and -'s*

Umm, pures has the same number of masteries they can use too. That really isn't an issue for hybrids. Although they do benefit more from buffs.

THERE IS NO BEST BUILD

make the character you want, not the character someone else says is the best.

well...there is no BEST BUILD, every build is good for different goals, if you want to lvl up fast, and do big damage and generally be "mage" go pure int nuker,str fire blades are generally PvP animals, it all depends on your style, your patience and your personallity

For me the Best build is the one im playing now , For others thats probbly something els

wat can be defined as "The Best "is mostly based on personal taste, playing style , and attitude

how ever in most cases Finance will pown any build

its the best for me, gives alot of damage has lots of hp but low mp!

The best build only depends on who you are fighting and what gear you have.

If you are only fighting in your level range, than any build with a pure SoSun setup will beat out any other build, since you have stuff that is 15 levels higher than the other person. Now if you are fighting someone 15 levels higher than you, then your build will have a harder time keeping up since that person has the benefit of those extra (15lvls * 5stat point per lvl) 75 stat points to use.

It's all relative.

But I wouldn't mind having a level 70 pure str fire/cold w/ lit buffed blader myself

Those combos looks awesome in PvP battles.

All of the 'cookie cutter' builds work well, especially if you use teamwork, something people dont seem to care about. I dont care that my nuker will lose PVP cape battles against bladers and glaviers, if i want to do proper PVP (jobbing) i will go with my guildmates, they will tank, and i will run about nuking stuff, occasionally getting pwnzored. The overwhelming majority of the game is grinding on mobs however, and as a STR glavier i got bored of my killing speed. Nuking ftw!

Edit: Despite what many 'experts' may tell you, a well made hybrid is also a very powerful character.

i think this game is like rock paper scissors...

each build can kill a different build but has its weaknesses...

nukers can kill everything (there level)
glaivers can kill everything (there level)
bladers can tank everything (there level)
hybrids do what you build them for...

this is all *IMO*...

Well if you're hybrid your build will most likely be somewhat like:
- 90 Weapon Mastery (heuksel bicheon) because you mainly will use weapon skills?
- 90 Fire Mastery (most damage dealing force?)
- 120 on Cold/Lightning..

Because you spend 30 more on weapon mastery (nukers only need 1 of them at 60 for max passive).. you have 30 less to spend on cold or lightning.
Lightning has +mag damage, +speed, ..
Cold has +phy defense
or something.. means you have to cut 30 on one of them.

What I think is that 90% int will have +defense/hp+higher crits.. but have -defense from Cold

You can't really make ANY assumptions on hybrids. They don't really have specific requirements. Also, they can choose different skills depending on their outlook. Hybrids are completely independent and sometimes their ideas turn into ownage.

Base on my assumsation.. Balance BOW Hybrid will be best built at level 90

1)Stun and Knock Down won't be that effective after 80, because you can't level them(skill) up after 70 even with 80 Mastery.

2)You get increase magical damage by leveling up your force mastery (fire)
You get increase physical daamge by elveling up your weapon mastery(bow)

3)You can't be freeze by switching (shield and casting fire shield), you need good accessories for this to work

4) YOU GOT THE HIGHEST DAMAGE SKILL- Anti Devil , Strong Bow, Devil Arrow. is stronger than nuke!

5) You will hit at the highest maximum damage, because you got alot of increase Attack ratio skill.

6) Your defense is actually slightly better than pure built(if you add the phy and mag defense up and do a ratio and maths formula)

This is party because of game concept, if you have more magical balance your phy defense suffer(gets penalthy). But with balance built you got no penalty on both side

same applies on damage

6) PLEASE DON'T DO PURE STRENGHT BOW, they sux, bow is actually a hybrid weapon)

This is fast beat down built

Base on my test, Glavie is the best built

fought bladers on pvp, is actually a time stalling match but glavie has more advantage. GLAVIE just need to wait for a successful SSS, than follow by Pluto than a final CRITICAL on ghost spear mars.. and blader is dead.. or SSS than Critical Mars will do too..

but blader has to wait for glavie to run out of potss -.- which is actually a longer process.

By the way I am an owner of a pure Strenght Glavie, Blader and Int

Wanted to make a hybrid but i guess I lost the zest of this game.

anyway if you are a rich kid and can buy sos armor and etc gears.. you can try 90% magical balance hybrid. they are really good at beat down..
they just keep nuking you and you will die fast.

I fought one before and lost.. it was just one match.. i wanted a rematch but he went off..

he has sos sshield, sword and item mall -.-

ohyes I was fooling around with my new glavie chains too, so yea kind of let my guard down, thinking that he is just an int. So to me that match was not fair, but i did lost to him.

if a blader lets you get off that combo... hes not PvPing right...

and did you forget about the shield?

with a decent shield along with the passive... i doubt hed go down that easy...

sorry about the ressurection... gotta defend my build...

i think blanaced builds.... 75%/75% are gonna own... they will do relatively high damage in both catergories (phy and mag) so therefore it will take advantage of the aromor that the opponent is wearing... itll do good mag damage... which will hurt armor... and will do good phy damage which will hurt garmet... havent really thought about protector though...
