I started my character on odin server , I choosed warlock and its level 18 and here comes my 1st Question :
1)Was it a good choice ? Because I see Many Wizards lower than my level and hitting with ATLEAST double my Damage ( No , they dont have Sox Equipment)
2)For Warlocks , Shall I choose subclass Cleric or Bard ?
If Cleric , why ?
If Bard , why ? (No Wizard Subclass or Main or Any other )
I want to Be Nice in PVP and Really good in PVE and survive well!
3)I m now on 5 level gap , If i Choose Bard/Cleric For my Warlock, how many levels gap should I maintain for my entire journey to have it fully farmed at level 80?
NB: I have 1.3k SP
Warlocks don't reach their true potential until level 44. Before that, you are better off not taking pvp/pve damage too seriously because you don't get Courage Raze and Bloody Trap until then, which are two of the best skills you will ever get. You will also be able to survive very, very well if you take a cleric subclass because you can attack cancel like no tomorrow, drop opponent's attack power, leech HP, and get extra defense and block from a shield, and you can have the added bonus of easy weapon switching and good healing capabilities. Bard does not have any true advantage for warlock except for speed, which you can incorporate into your training style by DoTing and running. You can also do that with a cleric sub and zerk. Noise, although helpful, isn't as necessary as it is for wizards and rogues, who die easily. Bless Spell, Recovery Division, and Healing Cycle can help you tank through huge mobs of monsters without difficulty. Warlocks and Wizards fight very differently. Wizards rely on huge attacks to survive, but Warlocks have to utilize all of their offensive debuffs and attack cancels to win.
Cleric sub takes a ton of SP, even with just the bare essentials. Go Bard if you don't want to keep gapping like that (A 5 gap is pretty big, and leveling will get VERY slow). You could do a 3 or 4 gap with Bard, I think. I would still recommend cleric for the added survivability.
A good skill to get is Shield Trash, which is one skill that will save your ass countless times. It takes a negligible amount of SP; all you need is 10 levels of warrior, which takes less than 30 sp to do. Shield Trash has a 2 second cooldown and can KB three players/monsters at once with an impressive rate of 80%, and can even dull 40% of the time. With Stun and Sleep, you'll be nearly untouchable, and even more so when you get to level 76 and you can have two books of each! (To annoy someone: Stun, Stun, Sleep, Sleep, KB)
