Bandit Farming - What To Do?

Hello,

I'm Planning to make SP Farmer @ Bandits... i dont wanna hear like "go powerfarming"... i want
to farm bandits like the old days, not pay some level 60-80 so i can go afk do nothing and
get SP for free.

The question is, should i go full str or full int for SP farming?

If i go full str as SP farmer, do i still kill the bandits fast? (or even archers)? That way
i can also stay with my bow and keep full strenght until the 90 cap.

If i go full int as SP farmer, do kill very fast? It's just that after browsing those forums
i read that full INT bow is NOT viable in higher levels, pvp and pve. Well if that's true...
should i move to Heksual/spear after i'm done with farming.

So farm full int, or full str, what are the advantages/disadvantages?

Anyone got some more information about this?

full str with a sos+7 or higher bow. you will 1hit bandit archers and they wont own ya if your pure int and u get hit by 5 archers at the same time ur dead

i farmed with sos+3 bow and it took ages. so try get som+3 or sos+7 that would be good enough i guess

Or try and get a 2D full sos+3/4/5 armor set with str increase and hp increase on ALL possible parts. and then switch to sword/shield or spear After farming, PS Bow pure int is hard to play but you will do more dmg then pure str bow but your defence will be crap so pure int bow in PVP WILL SUCK!

Yea, i do have an SOM bow + 3 right now, so that's enough you think?

Also i have parts of 2D Armor, and still need some more, but why armor? wont garment do better
since the mana cost is reduced then? (for full str)

With an SOM bow+3 i should be able to go full str and remain full str after the farming? With my bow...?

Yeah and if it isnt make it +5 since that aint to hard.

With pure int you will need Armor if you take pure str then npc garment will do.

Yeah with som bow you can remain pure str after farming ill tell you one thing though. youll have a boring time leveling after farming till lvl +- 42 after 42 when u get 6D pure str bow is cool ^^

Well my highest character is only level 31 at the moment and i got about 40 million... but i will buy sos/som garment (already got few parts) just so i wont use as many HP pots as normal, so i can take like 50 HP pots and a few hunderd MP for example... Anyway why wait until 6D pure str bow?

I can always buy a level 32 sos bow or something or what? O.o

farming at bandits is good now... no one is there so sp is fast

and if you farm at lv 16, lvl up to 20 first to for extra stats, then delvl to 16 and you can just use teleport npc to go back to fort so you dont waste time running back and forth

Hello,

if you de-level, you have placed the stats and everything... but if you noticed you WILL NOT get any addtional hp/mp from level 17 if you go back to 16... or am i wrong there?

Anyone else reading this got some reply aswell...? only 2 people so far...

No, once you receive and put the points into int or str, deleveling then re-leveling will not grant you extra points. (But it will not take them away either)

If it did, everyone would do it, and we'd have people @ level 20 with int/str stats like level 80...

In the past i used to get to 28, then delevel to 16 and start farming. It helps a lot with the damage, especially if you're a full str.

A full INT with a SOM+5 bow or something can 1 hit an archer, i think. For full STR, it will be harder.

Basically, you decive on your build before farming.

If you want to go full str, then, of course, you will be farming as a full str bow. Do the equivalent think for full INT.

Jeez I must be playing on a whole different game altogether. Why are you suggesting outrageous SoM + 5 bows and SoS + 7's ?!?! I'm using an SoS +3, I'm pure Str and I can one hit kill bandit archers EASILY. The only thing you really need to have is an SoS + 3 bow (minimum, +5 would work really well) and str and int increases on pretty much all of your equipment. I know you have a good SoM bow, which is good, you will have no problem. You might want to even consider farming on bandits, they have a better drop rate.

There's a tutorial on this website for Sp farming at bandit archers at lvl 16, you just have to use the search button.

i didnt say you have to wait till 6D i said its boring till 6D i am full 7D str Bow and im having a blast i love my character. but at 5D it was hella boring

you can 1hit a bandit with Anti Devil Bow, Not with normal arrows witch is a cr@p load faster. man i also farmed with sos+3 but it was boring as hell and took me ages to do. (plus i didnt have a pickuppet)

Really, you should invest in a pick up pet. Farming at bandit will yield you lots of gold, and items. Bring loads of destroyer rondos, so you could destroy those 2degree items for Wind 2 ( unless you really want to have a bag of those and sell it ). Also, broken arrow also gives wind2, if i'm not mistaken.

But it's always good to see someone so dedicated to farm the old way. Goodluck man. You have my respect for your dedication

Heres a good tip, level up to 19 and add all points to str. Then, delevel back to 16. This should give you an extra of 9 str(correct me if im wrong). Another thing is don't level up to 20, you wont be able to teleport using the guide. The guide in jangan lets you teleport back to the last spot you used return scroll. Lets say you use the return scroll from the stronghold, and that you wanna go back there really fast, use the jangan guide to teleport you back there. It saves more time than going there with a horse.

If your pure str with a som +3 bow, youll do fine. Just remember to get good gear. I was sp farming there before, I was full int with a sos+4 bow and I was one hitting archers Whatever you want to do, its your choice though. Hope this really helped. Good luck sp farming

you can use teleport guide at 20 so i said to lvl up to 20

also you wont keep hp from lv 20 at lv 16 because there is a cap for each lvl, but you'll get extra damage

Well, i will see if i go to 20 or 19, depends on how much SP i will get from each kill at level 19, if its a lot less than at level 18, i won't go to level 20.

And i guess i should put STR AND INT on my gear, not only STR. And i searched for this big ass guide yes but that doesn't answer all my questions :O.

I've farmed 100K at the stronghold in the good old days

I was a 1:1 archer at that time, with around 70% int on my gear, and some str points. I was using a sos+3 bow and I killed 1 bandit archer in 2 shots.
