I prefer sword...

But I like the spear knock-backs and stuns also.

Its your own choice..

..if you like very high damage -> Spear

..if you like high damage + a bit tanking > Sword/Shield (S/S)

even though i was a former bow and spear user, i would like to suggest that you use S/S since in the later lvl's your character's BR will increase making you hard to kill, + with snow shield = Tank

....

yeah spear users are great in fast killing and stuff but S/S in 90 cap got combo's with negative effects....
