Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
I've been SP farming on my rogue these past few days via powerleveling/"taxi" (I use two computers in case you're thinking of calling me a cheat) and so far managed to get 51k SP. My plan is to collect all the SP needed to become a fully farmed rogue-cleric by farming around my 20s. However, I'm not sure whether I should simply collect around 135k so I can be a fully farmed dagger rogue/cleric by the time I hit 80 on 0 gap. My question is, should I stop at 135k or should I earn another 100k SP to be a fully farmed dagger-crossbow rogue (subclass cleric)? Is it worth it or is it a complete waste of time?

Farm over 300k SP imho for the 90 cap for both xBow & dagger skills to bring out the best of a rogue then you can take it easy from then on

Im only farming 100k in my 20s. Then imma level to 60 fully farm. Then I open up a gap again and start farming for 80 skills. Then 90 cap i'll see what happens. =)

It's a pain in the ass
But I guess I'll earn at least 200k SP before I go any further than 27. Compared with my Lv.74 Blade, this one has a lot more potential I guess.

IMO cross bow is a necessity for a rogue. It is useful in pve and pvp. For ur farming question im just doing a 2 gap for a while and farm at 52 on penons, and u get some sp from quests.

I suppose but I think I'll stick with farming at 20s for now. I can easily earn around 1.5k-2k SP per hour on average without gold/premium ticket. Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of time on my hands so I only get to play SRO once in a while.

Re: Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
i do think daggers and cross bow are worth it, crossbow for grinding, and sniping ints, but daggers rocks for pvp and parties, a cross bow rogue in a party is only good for luring, but daggers i can deal out some major dmg and with posion trap plus the daggers make a rogue rock in a party, but if you can't get any parties cross bow is better for solo, but i perfer to pvp with my daggers

Farming is a pain, I think it's better to do it once, and be done with it. Also both Daggers and Crossbow is a good choice. You never know when you need some extra range or a little more power. It all depends on the situation. Oh, and grinding with daggers sucks.
Normally pvp/job with daggers though like foudre said.

Sounds Good to me, but I would go for the sp needed for 90 cap as mentioned above. As for me, I'm doing that for a 2 handed warrior/rogue. Gonna be interesting.

Re: Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
Everything been said already but just wanted to add, if you dont want to farm to be farmed to 80 now, i would stick with Xbow first and get Daggers skills later, since you can usually takes higher lvls mobs with Xbow than daggers because of range/KD/KB.
Just take daggers skills for pvp when you gonna farm again in 60-70s.

Re: Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
Thanks for the tips guys. I'm aiming for around 130k SP for now and I'll probably stick with dagger-cleric rogue since I'm creating this char specifically for PvP and Thief operations. Although crossbow rogues level a lot faster than dagger ones, I'll probably just stick to 8-man parties

Re: Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
Get them both!
Your rogue will be incomplete. Take full advantage of your skills and dont lower yourself. With the Xbow you get the highest range, so you can attack without being attacked and daggers are for taking out a person quick.
Xbow you can take out multiple enemys but with the daggers, you can take them out very fast. Both skills have thier own skills that up the fun with a rogue.
But thats just me, i want to be able to use a weapon depending on the situation and what i think will give me the best results.

cross bow for theiving has its places, like if you have to kill a higher lvl int and you can't get close enough because they are moving, with swing march on, you can long shot knock down blast shot long shot, i did that yesterday at 51 i killed a wizzard that was 71 with out life controll on

Re: Dual Rogue: Is it worth it?
Until Joymax fixes the pk2 edit that makes Rogues under Stealth visible Daggers are totally useless. Its a pain to grind with them, and in PvP they will see you coming for them miles away and you'll get show down before you can even make your move.
You can always farm for Dagger skills to use in party or to use when you're bored of the Crossbow but if you want to level fast they're the ones you need to drop, not the Crossbow.
