bard mainclass?

hi all! just wanted to ask what youre experiences were as a bard and if you enjoyed it and how well you did at all aspects of the game.. and i heared something about a bard being the best pwlvl er? could somebody plz clear some things out for me?

talk to Hawaii, he was a bard, but switched over to cleric [currently lv74]. He knows TOO MUCH about bards lol.

imo its pretty fun sometimes cause of fast small nukes. You would mainly constantly heal the party's mp and buff every so often(basically a cleric for mp, less to no aggro though). You could solo(since the attacks are pretty fast), but since the attacks arent as strong as wizards, it will be harder to solo. I've solo ed myself as a bard and you can basically 2-3 shoot mobs about your lvl (only giants suck...)
This also applies to plvling, wizards are much better plvlers because of the large damage compared to bards. It is possible to plvl with the bard, but it will take longer.

For pvp, i havent done much of it, but im guessing its almost the same as wizards (maybe less damage but more attacks in the same amount of time). The slight problem in pvp with the bard's nukes is that with 2 of them, booming chord and booming wave, you need to be within a certain distance to hit, (difficult against range) but you would mainly use horror chord and weird chord. Other than that it is almost the same as a wizard in the case that hp is low

you can take on cleric sub, and it will help in lvling and pvping (more sp so you could just leave the job to clerics, of course if there are clerics o.O)
Bard/cleric=fewer pots xD

People who say wizards plvl faster than bards just dont know what they're talking about.
Bard attacks are MUCH faster than wizards (they are the fastest in the game), and after lvl 60 you have 3 nukes that you can constantly cycle without ever having to wait for cooldown or charge up (A bard will fire 2-3 nukes while a wizard is still waiving his hands about trying to cast the first).
