Its a matter of preference.

Ice:
Nice tanking, slow effect usefull for pvm, u ll use less pots.

Fire:
Better damage, faster leveling. Most popular build.

Lightning:
Only recommended if you want to do a really low-sp build. (You ll get lightning anyway cause of grasswalk,...)

dude most of ppl choose str ice bow (myself), the difference with fire is not that much, besides i kill the mobs before they can it me, most of the times...
