Sooo used to be Legit meant doin it all yourself one key at a time and players who ran bots where substandard players, the scum of the earth. So now what do you say you hard core insufferable freaks?? I don't hear a word about these players who ride on the coatails of leveled players, sitting on their horses while someone PL's them from 0 to 70 and beyond. Puts a new spin on things ey? Or am I being obtuse?

Meh. Everyone has his own version of 'legit' these days.

IMO, being legit is not goldbuying, no botting, not even tracing by a bot and anything related to that.
If people can't play the game to the cap according to the rules, or don't want to, shouldn't even be playing SRO at all.

A while ago one of my friends, a claimed legit, told me to join his pt share. Asked him for pt number but he wouldn't give me. Turned out he was in a party with an 80 botter at Generals while he was WAY lower level to even be able to survive there.
Within a short time we'll get the "WHOOO IM LVL 80 AND LEGIT I ROCK YEA" global. Followed by the "WHOO LEGITS FTW IM LEGIT TOO" globals from his friends/guildies who are also tracing bots on ponies.

I don't give a damn if it takes ages for me to hit the cap. It took me over a year to hit 70. So what? I don't have time to play 24/7. Whoever thinks that's a reason to bot is an idiot. Or they think it's boring to handgrind to 80 and thus start botting.
If I don't want to play, then I don't play. And then I also don't want to sit on a horse tracing a bot.

Yeh. I think a lot of people just need to take a break. I FINALLY got CS3 so Im gonna be tryin to learn how to produce what I see in my head. For the future, I cant wait to go thiefing with Preacher, my ice/bow....wheeee. That should be fun...

Yea i agree with SP taking a break would be nice, to wait for improvement.. But as far as we know that wont happen in the near future... Ive tryed too many times and i can confess: Im addicted!

legit= no bot, no powerlvling by bot, no buying gold, no scamming, no hacking
powerlvling means stand idle and let the bot kill for you and dont do anything, but if you join a pt share and there're ppl botting as far as u kill mobs too and dont stay idle for whole time its fine for me. Thats for me
but legit means nothing against joymax's ToS so powerlvling is cus you're doing nothing anything agaisnt it but the powerlvler is

if all ppl that got powerlvled is not legit, legit will be even more few i consider legit ppl that got powerlvled by a powerlvler that handgrinds as well ^^
i'm powerlvling my euro char, two pc rules and farming at ongs is hella fast 20k sp in 3 days without ticket and i grinded for 2-3 hours per day kinda bored of sro though that's why i didnt buy tickets

I have partied with players that I knew botted and I dont see a problem as long as they are not botting in the party. Botting party member arnt really parties members. They are not working with the team and tend to just drag mobs on to the ints.

I know some ppl take a stronger stance. I belive the rule in our Venus Union is no parting with botters period. It really does not effect me as I dont know anyone on Venus except union/alliance members lol.

maybe u should come to rome, take a trip to generals or mages? there arent any fully legit partys but im sure there is in Venus. and if you cant be in the same partys as a botter maybe im not legit in that way -.-

lol i was not suggesting that rule for everyone. I dont use it when I play my Pacific Char. I play with whoever is around to play with. I will leave a party if i notice someone has left and just turned on there bot, it's not to difficult to tell! lol but that really is only because they suck and i dont need some random killin machine draggin mobs on me if I happen to get in the way.

No full legits on Rome? Yes there are, Inclemency lvl 79 pure int...never botted, bought gold or scammed hacked or been in a party with a bot. Same with Scansys 80 glaiver...so ya...there are full legits on rome...and they are pretty strong too...

and me, iv almost grinded my second lvl 80 legit^^Euro is 79 atm, first was a blader

Going to call you on that; that's not full legit when you're power sp farmed. You grinded everything by yourself; yes. You died and lost all xp you gained from one month of power farming; yes. But you had a bot pwrfarm you for 400k+ sp. Not fully legit; but not bot. Remember, we decided to kick your guild from the union for this instance; it was felt by a majority of the unions guild leaders that what you were doing was not legit.

The only fully legit 80s I know are Scansys, Alyxon (your blader), PuppyPumper, and myself.

I know (doesn't mean they don't exist out there) of no one else that is fully legit 80.
