I downloaded SRO again last night and when I run the installer, I get a gray message with Please Wait.. in it and then thats all that happens. All I got in the download was SilkroadOnline_GlobalOfficial_v1_150.. is that right?

So.. what I need is a place that works for downloading installers for the game..unless there is anything you can think of that would be causing this.

edit. I am getting this window after running the .exe

the actual image wouldn't show up for some reason so had to just post the URL

ur suppose to wait when u get the please wait.. sometimes it takes a while, as for the error image your firewall might be blocking the connection.

I did wait when I got the please wait.. i dont think it's supposed to take 5min tho. and my firewall is off.. and even if it were on, the firewall wouldn't cause that window to pop up

and this isn't the first time that I have installed the game

it can take longer than 5 minutes just wait until it does something other than that. and for the error message it does come up if your firewall is blocking the connection from the client to their server.

and firewall is still off

well than i guess get rid of the current installer u have and re-download from fileplanet and install and see if that works.

ok. I'll try and do some things later. but do have a question, what does your installer exe look like, mine is just the white screen w/ the blue border icon..that how yours is or is the download screwed up?
