Running Fraps on Silkroad

Post by Endou »

Hey I have a problem. I'm currently using Vista, and everytime I try to open SRO with fraps on, I get this message that says Detected Abnormal Process. And then SRO just doesn't open at all. And so I tried opening SRO first before opening Fraps. This worked but then I couldn't record anything. Does anyone know a way around this? It never happened on my old PC which had Windows XP. Any help would be very welcomed, thanks alot.

do you have the newest version of fraps? think it's 2.9.4, only newer version of fraps supports vista.

I hit the hotkey and the yellow numbers at the corner of my screen should turn red, which means it's recording. But when I press the key it stays yellow. I even check if it saved something inside my fraps folder, but nothing came up.

Thanks alot I shall give that a try.

EDIT: Thanks BlackFox the new version does infact work for my PC, but unfortunately I can only get the trial 30sec-recording version. Would you, or anyone else, have any idea where I could get the full version?

Fraps is a stupid program, you can buy it but if you get the program to someone else then they will have it for free and no one will know. they need better security on that program. And no problem.
