Armadax Keylogger

So today when I got on my computer, I notice a funny little icon in the task bar. I hover over it and right click it. It came up as "Armadax Keylogger..." I googled this little program and it turns out it logs passwords, takes screenshots of w/e is on the screen at that moment, logs chats from MSN or facebook, and logs keystrokes... I was messing around with it and got into its settings ... it wasn't password protected <_<. I found it had taken over 4,000 photos, since July 14th when it was created onto my computer, logged 300 chats, only a few passwords because I only go on a few websites and silkroad.. and thousands of Keystrokes -.-"
I also learned while googling that it is mainly used (kinda obvious..) to monitor childrens activities on the computer!?!? Also to take peoples information and to monitor your computer if u share w/ sum1 else while you not home... It was hidden in my system 32 folder -.-" It took an hour to locate it... searching each drive specifically and all my folders to find it... Whats weird is in the settings, it has an email to upload all info to, or an FTP, but that stuff was blank... I wonder who was monitor my computer? Was it downloaded to my comp on purpose? I don't visit malicious sites (sure every1 says it... but nothn happend to my silkroads accounts..) How would this get on here !?!? without me even knowing?? My mom doesn't even know how to set up the internet, could she have set up a keylogger? How do I know for sure its gone? I deleted it, virus scanned (it was a hidden file so it didnt even come up when i virus scanned!!!) and deleted everything associated with it. I need some help
. I use ESET Smart Security for virus scanner if that helps. If any1 knows anything about these, please help
