Its getting irritiating, random FPS decrease. HELP, ty!

I been experiencing frequent decrease in FPS which makes the game lag really bad for some amount of time. Its realy slow and its getting annoying ><
I tried removing graphic card, cleaning CPU, looking for overheating, defragmenting drives but nothing is helping me. Not only sro, but css lags aswell in the same pattern, help me out please
Some PC specs :
Running Vista Ultimate and Nvidia 8600 GT 256mb ddr3.

it's vista. i lag in CSS too with a 256mb gfx card. not on vista though

But dude it goes from very smooth to very low FPS.. it wasnt like this before..

o, well in that case i don't know but i can suggest that maybe your fan is broken on your card? idk just sounds like a familiar problem.

Could you post screenies of your processes list before and while running SRO or CSS. And check if your graphical card still works.

I'm clueless here... Nothing out of the ordinary...
Have you tried checking your network cabling?

Yeah, i think it might be overheating? or graphic card?
idk, it was pretty good until few days back and bam!
still occurs for 30seconds-back to normal-30 seconds or so...
i also checked proceses while the lag happened but nothing problematic

I'm guessing your GC is fried then
