Laptop graphics card issue

I'm running SRO on a Compaq Presario x1000 with a Mobility Radeon 9200 card. The catalyst driver by ATi isn't compatible with my card (I think) because they've pretty much abandoned the older cards. In SRO, the graphics are playable, but the textures are constantly flashing like they're being struck by lightning. Is there anything I can do for my graphics card?

Edit: Sometimes the textures disappear altogether.

Edit 2: Nevermind. I fixed the issue. Downloaded the 5.6 Omega driver for ATI Radeon: http://194.71.11.70/pub/games/PC/guru3d ... com%5D.exe

Game runs fine with that.

thats nice and all but i need an experts help on get the stupid d3d9 application to work its so gay i cant even create a character
