FIRST I had the old silkroad and evey time i try to open it says the server is undergoing inspection.
then i downloaded the silkroad legend 3 and now when i open it it comes an error it says this is a client file than can be used after the legend 3 uptade...
now how the heck do i uptade itplz help....

make sure your firewall isnt blocking the connection to make sure just take down the firewall while u are installing.

i already downloaded it but when i click it the icon it loads up for like a minute then that message comes up. yes i TURNED off the firewall.
any other help? plz....

try connection to http://www.silkroadonline.net before you try to install, for some reason it clears up connection issues sometimes, and are u positive u have the newest client?

i have legend 3 client and silkroad page wont load

well theres your problem then, keep trying to refresh your page and see if it works, other than that if you say that you have ur firewall down i would suggest that its possible ur ip is blocked.

OMG OMG OMG!!! proxy switcher changed my life!!!!!!
now i can open silkroadonline.net without any problems but now i cant open the game....

So you used a proxy to allow your ip to connect to the SRO servers...I think.

I am having the same problem as our energetic friend Moe here but there is no way they could block my IP as Im sitting behind a router with a netmask. If they banned my netmask IP they would be banning everyone else in the world with a d-link router.

any ideas?

try using proxy switcher....
It should work the website but the game didn't work just yet ...

I havent had a problem with the website, its the game.

Honestly I only go on the actual SRO website maybe once a month. Im really on concerned about the game.

If 1.157 is the most recent version. I do recall that this is an update issue...but Im not connecting right or something like that to get the update...although what have they updated? Maybe just GNGWC?

The current client download on SRO main page is 1.150. I have the vigor grain NPC update which was the last right?

yeah i think u have the newest update then, i dont play isro much anymore so im not really up to date on that but its deff a connection problem but i dont know what it could be really, all i can really suggest is u keep trying and maybe it might work :\

O well...I reported it on the bug report thing on the site...dont know how much good that will do but...Ah well..maybe someday I can get back to my lvl 42 spear

Ok, problem solved. Uninstalled, deleted all files, reinstalled the old 1.30 version and then let it update. So...problem solved I suppose. Thanks for the help attempt cpinney
