When I (finally after 1000 tries) managed to run SRO, I logged in and chose to create a Chinese character.
When I was about to type in the name it crashed, and only gave me the ???? error (the one with the CPU specifications and stuff)
So I installed the newest driver.
I created a character and went in game, logged out after a while,
And now it won't let me log on, when I try it gives me the same ???? error :/
How can I fix this?

it could be several things, it might be your specs for your computer post those so we can get a bigger picture.

most likely your running sro at high graphics and your computer cant handle it

2.80 GHz, 1.00 GB RAM

WinXP pro sp2


...And I'm running it on default, meaning 'low' graphics and the 1024x768 res.
Let me try 800x600...

also a bit more ram wouldnt hurt either but what graphics card do u have?

It's Nvidia GeForce

It runs now, after I set the res to 800x600 and set the 2nd graphics to low as well,
But it lags like hell... I keep dying for not activating stuff on time :/
Is it just me, or is the server 'experiencing technical difficulties'?

Now again... It either gives me the same error upon log-in, crashes, or doesn't let me connect to the server... What gives? :\

hmmm, its possible u could have viruses or some other type of harmful stuff on your computer which is slowing it down, but i really cant tell.

ya try scanning your computer especially the sro folder, and do you have directx installed?
