Can't Reinstall

I got the Trojan Virus warning today but I figured it was the old AVG thing again. Well I turned it off and tried to login againg but got an Error 5 or something like that. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the client. Well, everytime I try to install this is what happens. THe install screen comes up goes through the whole process - the folder is created and files are loading (data, media, music, etc) it gets to the end of the install and blip the whole folder just disappears. Gone poof. I watched it disappear right out of windows explorer. I have downloaded the client from 3 places tried them all. I have tried creating an SRO folder and installing it there instead of the default. I have tried installing it on both of my harddrives. I have installed the old client and let it update from there. The old client stays but the new one disappears after the install completes. HELP please anyone with ideas.

well, obviously its AVG. If you check, it has it blocked in the virus vault. I have not found a way to get it out of there though =/.

What I do = disable the shield thing, get in sro, then turn it back on. It works

i just uninstalled avg and will find another vscan. Worked and I am back in playing thanks.
