Silkroad screen freezes in game periodically but the game is still running (i.e. the sound and the buttons work)

I have:
Windows XP SP3
AMD Athlon 64x2 3200+
1 GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 7300 GS w/ latest drivers (6.14.11.7516)

Please Help

Check your video card temperatures.
Did this just recently start happening? and if so what
happened between before and now?

You can try upgrading your video card or adding some more ram.
