Any change I can reduce my temp of my cpu?
Second time my computer froze because my cpu overheated.

Edit: Its not my CPU, its my graphical card
Its a Geforce 6600 gt, temps goes up to 120°C when gaming(according to speedfan)
70/70°C when just being on msn.
My cpu fan is going at 4500 rpm wich can't be good either.

I think your graphics card fan is broken, this causes a lot of heat -> heat spreads to cpu -> cpu fans also goes in overdrive to cool down the cpu.
Just open your case, start ur computer and look if the fan works abnormally or if it makes a strange noise

It makes a very strang and loud noise when I start up, but later on the sound reduces.

You probably need to blow out the dust bunnies with some of that expensive canned air.
If it's been making that noise for a long time, it may be too late. The dust can cause the fan motor to burn up if it's been slowing it down for too long.

If the cleaning doesn't help, try running the computer with the side of the case off or open. Sometimes when everything else fails, that's your only option.

I always run with my side open :p (can't find that damn side panel >_>)
I cleaned it a bit, and it's helping.
Reduced with 10°C

Edit: Got a question to. Would my heat reduce when I put everything on low, instead of high?
Because on low my card needs to work less.

Hahaha... that's the most ghetto cooling I've ever seen!
I don't think your quality settings will change it much, but it's worth a try at this point.

Looking at your vid card, I wonder if those heat sinks are capable of doing anything at all.
Personally, I'd just dump $150 on an 8800GT from NewEgg.

For comparison, I have an 8800 overclocked and it runs 80C max.

In any case, you can buy a new case and vid card... to "fix"
You can find a bigger fan (increase airflow) like a house fan or dashboard car fan.
You can reduce the workload as you mentioned.

My CPU temp is 49C, MB is 35C now by way of comparison. Running your box open like that exposes it to greater external influences like humidity. A closed box has a specific airflow pattern that is designed to heat the air as it flows past your computer components. Regarding ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) humidity, temperature, pressure, number of air borne particles and air recirculation are all factors. The most significant environmental factor in ESD Control is the relative humidity.

It doesnt look like one, because then fan is at the downside.
This is how mine looks, but its upside down in my comp so fan is pointed down.
Edit: Going to ask my parents for that case. Thnx for all the help. I don't think I'll buy the 8800 gt, need to pay my fine and I'm not a "hardcore" gamer.
