Everytime i download any big file thats over 700mb (like sro) it stops at 99% and fails...and i have no freakin idea wats the cause of that

and it pisses the hell out of me especially because i have a 256K DSL and it takes like 12 hours to download a big file.
Anyone knows this problem or knows a solution to it?is it an ISP problem?
..Thanks in advance.

depends where you are downloading the file from....filefront does this a lot....a lot of their files are corrupt
also if you sue DAP, pausing and resuming can sometimes cause the file not to work and get to 100%, then say that the file is corrupt or invalid
so yea, may be the site you're downloading from....or the program you're using to get it

Yea it usually happens with filefront...but my brother told me he had this same problem sometimes too on his laptop so i figured the ISP could have something to do with this.
But yea for me its usually filefront but wats weired about it is that i can try to download the file later (or anyone else try to download the file later) and it wont get corrupted at the end.
