has your video card ever worked before with any other game on your current machine and setup?

Also it would help to know:
- How old is your machine?
- Made it yourself, bought it premade, or bought it custom built?
- What video card is in there?

So this is the error you get when you try to start SRO? That's strange.

Are you sure that you have a nvidia card?
And one that isn't onboard?
Check HP site for drivers, maybe it will have some newer drivers.

I posted this on another forum but you guys seem more helpful (i took it to compusa and they couldnt fix it):
I get the message, "The graphic driver installed on your computer is not the lastest version. Please update it in order to play the game without problems", whenever I start Silkroad. It lets me in game but parts of the screen blink. Ive fixed this before but now the display drivers I download dont work.
What Ive tried doing I uninstalled my display driver and used DriverCleaner in safe mode. Then in normal mode I try to install new display drivers but none of them work. I get the error, "The NVDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit." My labtop is a Toshiba Satellite 1955 s803.
If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I also downloaded the display drivers from support toshiba but they are too old and still get the silkroad error message.
