HELP ! my silkroad online just crashes at desktop ! when i start the silkroad.exe the mouse changes to "loading mouse" and the switches back to normal mouse but silkroad didnt start throu windows task manager , when i press the silkroad .exe in all tasks shows up the "silkroad.exe" but then suddenly disappears ...

my pc :

Intel Core 2 CPU
2,40Ghz
2gb of ram
video card : EN8800GTX 768mb
windows xp

PLEASE HELP ME !!!

It might be due to DEP, have you installed a new firewall or antivirus recently?
Anyway, go to control panel, system, advanced, under performance click settings... then go to the Data Execution Prevention tab - add anything silkroad related.. this will allow the silkroad client to execute properly.

If that's the problem, that is..
otherwise... firewall, antivirus, bad install?
Remember to post if you solved your problem, as others may have the same problem.

edit; btw, you do have DirectX 9.0c and nvidia video drivers installed for your video card, right? ;P
