Hi guys, my pc is sempron 3.0, 512ddr, geforce 6600, i have a lot of free space on my hardware, the pc is fresh after format i got all of the drivers installed, no applications in the background i have set my silkroad even to the lowest details and FPS drops like a stupid son of a $%#$%.. When i teleport from cave to hotan; the yellow bar loads in around 3minutes (no kidding, sometiems it takes 5)then, i can see town and i get a freeze, after around a minute i get the flash thing and in next 30 seconds its successfuly loaded! Then i get like slideshow ... not even 1fps i think... i tried deleting temp files, etc etc i was even tryign to overclock my graphic card... no way :/
At the end i want to mension that i remember playing 1440x900 on full details except shadows with around 60fps

Do you guys have any ideas whats the problem may be? What about setting voltage in bios, overclocking etc? i need help coz im pissed now...
My friend has exactly the same pc and it goes like honey..

Ho'kay, I'll have a go at this.
Three things I can see that could possibly be a problem here..
1. "DirectX Files Tab: The file d3d9d.dll is a debug version, which will run slower than the retail version."
Debug shiz is always b@D... try reinstalling DirectX, the dll should be d3d9.dll (no D, for debug of course)... maybe even try installing DirectX SDK, it can be found on microsoft.com
2. There's something about integrated under display... go into your BIOS setup (probably del key at startup for that motherboard I think) and turn off anything to do with integrated graphics, shared memory etc. (the card itself has enough memory to run silkroad, if you're sharing your hard 512mb that's not a good thing)
3. lower your desktop resolution to 1024x768, 60 hertz is fine.
play sro on 800x600 everything lowest if you aren't.. I can't remember.
Your pc isn't very good, but it should be able to play better than it is.. don't mess with voltage or anything in bios btw, hope some of this helps

Get the right version of directx 9c. As Mousetrap pointed out, any debug .dll will slow you down a lot.
A Sempron doesn't have nearly as much CPU cache as a true Athlon does; I had a nice fast Sempron for a while and the Athlon was much faster than the Sempron. They've narrowed the gap now so it performs better. But in general it's not going to be as fast. It's the Celeron of the AMD world. 512 mb of RAM will also slow you down, depending on what you have loading up in memory at bootup.
Oh, and the integrated under display - that's the RAMDAC - all cards have that.
Random Access Memory Digital to Analog Converter.

It's really not something you can disable, so you shouldn't have to worry about it.
