umm im playin on a laptop and i dont have a mouse or anything, im usin the touchpad thingy and i cant zoom out b/c i have no mouse wheel or anything. i dont know if theres a button u press to zoom out or something... i tried all the buttons alrdy...can u make a button to zoom out for ppl who play on laptops? and if theres alrdy a button tht does that plz tell me which.

Does the touch pad come with a pen or anything? X_X I sometimes play sro with my wacom tablet and the zoom on that is just moving the pen around =x

no i dont have a pen thingy... i have the little parrt on the corner of the pad that u use to scroll up and down and stuff but that doesnt work in game i play a bunch of other online games and they all usually have a button to zoom out (for example: pgup button to zoom out pgdn button to zoom in or somethin like that)plz help

Hmm, did you try system > options > set time/set input? I see some zoom options there.

i tried that but thats only the camera settings (like if u want the camera always behind u or at a fixed height point) its not for zoom out

its ok, by options i mean when you go into the game under options there should be a tab on the hotkeys for everything one should say Zoom In/Out or something like that change that one.

ummm theres no hotkey to change the zoom in/out....

can someone like plz help me with this?? its so hard to play so up close... i play on my lvl 23 wizard and i keep dying b/c i can never see if something is coming up behind me and it always kills me if im usin life control.... plz help

also it lags for me when im zoomed in like that too....

You can use a hotkey program like AutoHotKey to bind keys such as F5 or F6 to mimic the mouse wheel.

You can download it from AutoHotKey.com

I think the lines you need to add to the script are:

F5::Send{WheelUp}
F6::Send{WheelDown}

Everything you need to know about it is on the website or in the documentation. Read the instructions and look at the examples. If it's over your head, then find another solution because I'm too lazy to explain how to use it.
