Well as as the title says. I need to know hat is more important, Memory Bandwidth or Fill Rate. All the cards im looking at either have a better bandwidth and worse fill rates or worse bandwidth and better fill rates. Heres an example:

Bandwidth 3.2 GB/s, Fill Rate 1.4 Bil Texels/s - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... &CatId=933
Bandwidth 6.4 GB/s, Fill Rate 960 Mil Texels/s - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... &CatId=935

More cards at this page - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... 35|&Sort=4 and my budget it $60, if you spot a good one let me know

P.S. i know they are shitty cards

from personal experience i know that the 9550 radeon works well, i have it on two of my old comps and have had them for a while, had no problems with them and work well.

from the two that you have shown i would go with the one with the higher texel fill rate, along with that it just seems like the better card of the two.

Well by looking at the reviews for the Radeon 9550, it sounds like a shitty card.

Edit: nvm i found the radeon 9550, the other one was the S120 9550  is it this one?

I guess its between the GeForce 6200 and the Radeon 9550

Heres some better specs:
GeForce 6200 and the Radeon 9550
And heres my current card so either way it will be a good upgrade, but which one should i go with?

Edit: I think im convinced that i'm gonna go with the GeForce 6200

***Edit: These are the 5 that interest me the most, take a look at these please

i would go with either the geforce 6200 or the readeon 9550 out of the list, from these i would pick the geforce 6200, but if you are going to use this for silkroad geforce has had its share of conflicts with the game (i dont think its this series of card tho). i myself like i have stated before would pick the 9550 only because i have it on two machines and so forth and is reliable. but it does seem the 6200 is the better card.

If the 6200 is as bad as the 6600, you should be running for the hills before buying it. Have you considered the 1950XT PRO from ATI? It's the fastest AGP card available as far as I know, as long as your motherboard supports AGP 8x.

Quick tip:

Bookmark this page:

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php ... &card2=192

You can change the cards and see an instant comparison on pixel shaders, memory, clockspeeds, etc. It doesn't tell you actual gaming performance which doesn't always match benchmarks, but hey, it's a start.

Note the 6200 wins slightly by numbers. The ones the webpage bolds for you are the higher numbers to make your choice easier.

Of course you could compare the 6200 with a 6600:

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php ... card2=192#

Keep in mind they also made a GT, comparing:

Thus my statement in off-topic to try to get a 6600GT.

Will it fit in my mobo (ASUS K8V-X): http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php? ... cture=ASUS

Will it fit? AGP is AGP, and the only factor is either whether it will fit in your case for some reason or if it's 2x, 4x, or 8x. 8x is backwards compatible and I had a 6600GT AGP 8x in a 4x mobo for 2 years with no problems.

Food for thought.

The 6600 isn't that far ahead of a 6200, but a 6600GT is.

Of course all this is moot if you've already purchased a 6200; it'll work fine for the 4 months you have it. It's up to you.

Nope. i'm not that impatient, i rather wait a little longer to find out fore sure what is the best to get, rather then rush to it and make a wrong choice :P So as i mention in the other thread, i'm going with the 6600gt :D

EDIT: thx again for all the help bro, it was very, VERY appreciated !
