Silkroad won't run.

I launch, it goes past gameguard etc.. trying to load the game, it actually opens the game and I can see the start of it where it's in the town for the login screen.. ya know, then just crashes to the desktop.

Specs:
unknown CPU @ 1.5ghz~ (should be 1.9.. not sure what's up with that, just reloaded everything.)
"960" mb of ram (lol)
onboard GeforceMx 4 (I have an ATI x800XT which I use to run SRO on, but it seems to be fried.. or the AGP slot is fried, IDK. I also tried an oldish geforce AGP mx 4 (4400?) which got the same result.... just a lot of "static")

I changed a few things in the BIOS, not sure if this is right or not..

AGP Apature? size 64mb
something else at 32mb
8x enabled

One more thing, in device manager it's reading as if I have two "default" monitors, and two plug and play.. where I only have one plug and play. No idea why. Nvidia tried to run as dual screen but I set it not to.

Any suggestions? (BTW Yes, the drivers are the latest version.)

Oh oh, another thing... DX9.0C, no service pack win XP.

i see multiple problems, one u have no service packs lol..

two ur specs are very outdated including ur RAM lol

trying installing windows updates see what that can do, and i suggest getting a whole new system all together but if you cant afford it just get sp2 for right now.

I tried installing SP2.. but the DL was corrupted or some bs ;( guess I'll try again..

1GB ram (it's really just 512 x2) isn't too bad.. enough to play SRO

It's an extra PC really, my main one is a better (e6600 dual core @2.4ghz, 2GB ram, 7950GT video)
I don't plan on spending a cent on anything extra cause I won't be using it very much

Nope, that didn't work either....

If I try running it on 1024x768 I get the BSOD which has an error on nv_disp.dll and it does a "memory dump"
800x600 just gives me the ?????? error

ug.. annoying, oh well I guess
