Ok what the hell is this? I have began to get it at least 5 times a day usually in the middle of fighting and when i log back on...3% exp lost due to an unecessary death. I know Logical_1 has posted something on it bu that dosent solve anything, any ideas?

Its a critical error. Everyone get's them. Sometimes 5 times a day. Others 1 time a month. Every game, has its critical errors.

Lucky you, I get one nearly every 20 mins.

No one is really sure WHAT causes the error, and methinks that it includes Joymax.

I have the latest drivers et all, but it keeps crashing, and crashing and crashing.

Today for the first time in something like a month I woke up to find my stall had NOT been disconnected overnight. I went to eat a bowl of cereal and when I returned I was DCed. Curse you, Silkroad Online!

im starting to disslike Joymax realy bad!

I think the one thing people have to understand is that the servers just can't handle the amount of people on. Remember, noone is paying for this, and so the only money that comes in is from the silk. If they had another way of bringing in some serious cash, then they can purchase more physical servers to handle the data being transferred.

The other thing to remember is that school just got out, and all the little kiddies are playing. Thats why there has been a huge spike lately

Haha exactly. Updating that didnt do anything. Oh well, just going to have to hope it happens when im not grinding in the dead ravine lol.

hahahaha true XD damn those 8 year olds who just take place on the servers!
But they arent the only problem another problem are those BOTS who do absolutely NO GOOD and cause lags!!

well i did wut logicaly did and i only did it on the desktop icon of silk on my desktop and only change it to windows 95 and it worrks great but i do get disc alot now weird

I think it is when there is a failure in a sector of the game map (in town). Maybe due to overcrowding in one area or perhaps just a game bug (outside of town).

The reason I say that is because if you go to the empty parts of town, and idle, you will not crash nearly as often if you idled in the main floor of the city. I gave it a try this morning - from 7am - 12pm I was idling behind Bori in Donwhang. I came back and saw that I did not crash.

On another note, I think it's an afk eliminator too. I did not move my char afterwards, and I did crash around 2pmish today.

Well that can be right cause i got the ?????? error when i was doing trade run just not too long ago.........i keep moving my mouse and clicking here and there cause i almost reach Downhang, almost reach the gate that BAM! ????? error appear...

Update all drivers, including sound and graphics, then update DirectX to 9.0c.

I've seen issues where it's sometimes with sound, sometimes with AGP, and even other more obscure drivers. Best bet is to lookup your motherboard on the manufacturer website, then individually download drivers from the ones that are listed (download the drivers from their individual manufacturers, the ones on the motherboard manufacturer's website are most likely out of date)
