When i try to install sro on my brothers computer is says:

This is a client file that can be used after the legend2 update.


Anyone know whats wrong?...

Dl'ed the latest SRO client?

EDIT: Read that it helps to unistall and delete the SRO map before installing the new client.

Yes its the latest client, just downloaded from their site.

The computer has just been reformated and when i click the exe it says 'Please Wait' then after like 4-5 minutes it says that error.

I'm fairly sure the client checks the date from the JM site to make sure you can install it at that time, try turning off your firewall during installation, they have a nasty habit of not showing the 'allow/deny' window, especially Norton.

i just disabled my firewall and anti virus, same error.

Then..your guess is as good as mine. >_<

Try downloading the client again or from a different location, I'm not sure what will help.

yeah i have the same problem and i just downloaded it from gamers hell and its still doing the same thing to me.

i got mine to work!!

what i did is i downloaded the file from gameshell
with my anti virus and firewall on.
But when you go to install it, i turned my anti virus and firewall off.
This made it work for me, hopefully it will work for you too.
