I really need some help with this so i made a thread for just it....i have a distinct problem that i havent seen anywhere. This is the chain of events.

Firstly let me say i have 2 pc's...so i tested this on both.

lvl 80 - farmed - pure str glaive

I helped a couple euros by tanking for them last night..logged off SRO went to bed...woke up this morning logged in and went to hunters to farme tablets. On attacking my second mob i got a C++ runtime error. Re-logged same result, rebooted same result, reinstalled same result, combed through forums for topics found one and went and did what it said the first file when i tried too extract it said i had all the stuff updated already. The second was to update drivers...updated audio, video, bios, network and some other stuff. Most of these tho were re-installs so i moved on.

Did windows update..nothing new. Relogged - same result. Now i relogged and instead of choosing my glaive i chose a level 31 euro and i fought some mobs in Jangan ported to DW and did the same...no crash. Tried a totally different account level 36 blader and fought for a while diff locations diff mobs...no crash.

Tried my account on my other pc....crashed. So idk what to think really, has anyone ever heard of a character being bugged and why does it happen...how do i fix it??

Any help on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

I have seen 2 other posts on the official site that have this same error...is there anyone here that can help?

Thnx to everyone that read my post..lol...i suppose no one really had any idea how to fix it. My gf logged into my account and did something i probably should have thought of...she took my avatar suit off (Devil Wings)...no its all good again..strange but true.

im sorry for not replying i just had no solution to ur problem att, but im glad its fixed

Out of curiosity can you put the devil suit wings back on and play normally?

Its the first thing i tried to do once i was convinced the problem was fixed. I spent the remaining ticket time in Taklamakan with Devil wings on...no crashes so far and ever since i got Vista exiting the game used to give me a hang error...now it just closes no problems .....cant say i'm upset about that.

I much more appreciate ppl giving me an honest answer and saying idk is honest enough some people gave me tons of strange advice on other forums and on the site itself...none of which amounted to anything ....so no worries at least i know i'll get a direct and honest answer when i ask for help here.

Could have been much worse. I've seen lvl 60+ get stuck under Hotan and DC's right after log on. No hope of saving the character. Old member on the forums. Sucks, waste of character. Luckily that didn't happen to you.
