HELP!!!!

I have downloaded silkroad online from download.com about 5 times now. After the download is complete I click the icon on the desktop and i get a small gray box that says "Please Wait..." I don't know what to do. Can someone help me?

it happened to me one time and it was cause of not enough rooom on my hard drive

Just leave it, don't touch anything. I remember i had to wait a long time too.

Restart your computer after downloading the client. I had the same problem too.

I restarted my comp and sat there waiting for about 10 minutes and still nothing. Is the icon suppose to be just a little white box? It didn't even install after i downloaded the client. I don't know what to do...

Turn off your firewall while installing, some firewalls have a nasty habit of forgetting to show the 'allow/deny' window.

download it from the sro site. then try it.. if you still have the problem. uninstall your old sro(save your screen shots). then try again.. if it is still not working. restart and run the install. keep in mine it can take up to 30 mins for the installer to do anything or show anything. also may help if you open the sro website before you try to install.. also check your fire wall. as far as i know it looks to see what the date is on the sro server before it will allow you to install it.
also i know doing all this will take 45+ mins so if you post again saying it dont work then you did not do what i said.. oh and i seen that you said you get something saying plz wait. do what it say and just wait it takes a long time sometimes..

what are your computers specs? and try a download from filefront.
