about every 5 minutes i get dc'd!!! its driving me crazy, i dont know what brought it on, i have bought premium, so i cant understand wth is happening? does any1 have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Are you getting '???' error? Or just regular old disconnect without any message? Or "Disconnected from Server?"

If its ???? error, try updating your graphics drivers. If you're still disconnecting, turn off the in-game music. Worked for me when I disconnected every 2 minutes in Tibet.

try to stay away from very populated areas like hotan but with ur premi u can at least get back in

its just Dc from server, no reason why, ill try turning music off. thnks

Hm new graphics drivers, graphics card maybe if nothing else at all works, other than that I really can't think of anything besides spamming the hell out of Joymax.

its band new! ive had it for a total of 17 hours! 1200 pc, i bought all teh parts separate and stuck it together, quad core cpu, ill cards, its an awesome comp

I'm not sure then :S . I'm not disconnecting at all then again I have music off and all graphics at minimum.

and no one is trading, im just dc'ing what seems to be randomly

i've been checking technical help forum and apparently, it's either ur router's prob, JM's server prob, or a mixture of both. if u'r end's normal, then JM end sux. have u tried logging into another server and seeing if u get dc there?

Well I mean if you have a super crazy populated server then that's why probs, but also maybe just try 2morrow? or a few hours later because I have been constantly dc'd before and I just tried a few hours later and it worked fine..

turn off anything that uses the net. like man yahoo aim outlook updates any downloads so on.. if that dont work try this: turn off your modem router and computer then start them back up in this order modem router/switch(if you have one) then computer.

if that dont work then i would say wait a little wile your isp my be having problems.

Defrag your computer... I don't know why, but if I get a problem like that constantly, cleaning up my computer by defraging and restarting it afterwards helps alot...

And go to your task manager and end a few programs, that helps too...

If you are on wireless it could be that some connection is lost every now and then, and that can DC you.

A friend of mine had this problem. He had a brand new wireless internet connection, but everytime we played BF2 he DCed after a few minutes.

Later he found out the wirless internet lost connection at moments. You can't connect with the server for a very short moment but you get DC'ed.

this happens one 2 different computers, both with the res set to minimum and the sound off


constant DC, even with premium, one of the computers is brand new! 1 day old, with awsome graphics card and cpu, not on wireless, directly plugged in

i was getting a lot of dcs too, and a guy from pt told me to set off the quick pt view change, and it works (but dunno why xD)

option -> set game -> game settings -> scroll down and set off quick party view change

try it, maybe it will work for u too

How are the 2 computers connected to the internet?

turn ur router of and let it sit 5 mins and then restart if it doesnt fix it then turn computer of and unplug it turn router of and unplug it then 2 mins later restart both

ok this happens on 2 different computers, i dont bot, each computer has been cleaned out, ive tried with only having 1 connected to the internet at a time.

it happens in hotan, it happens in smarkand, and it happens when im in the middle of nowhere with no other people around me

the computers are connected with separate CAT cables, and have been able to run sro int he past with no problems

the only thing running on the computer is sro, and the system isnt taxed at all, everything is running smothely

ive restarted the router about 4 times to no success

im trying "set off quick party view change" atm, ill let you guys know whats happening?


edit: nope the quick party view change is off and i still get Dc'd
i was standing out in the middle of nowhere, only 1 mob in sight, and he left before i got the DC
