This can be happenning for a thousand reasons.

Overclocked PC?
Bad RAM?
Bad Drivers?

The question is: why would your parents reformat your PC?

Well Lieutenant No-Manners-and-no-punctuation,

As I said it can be happening for a thousnad reasons, and you fail to provide any info as to the state of your system like:

Have the latest drivers installed? (Both Graphics and MoBo)
Have you tested your RAM for errors?
What have your friends told you to do?
Have you ever used the search function on this forum?

yes i have used search function and i cannot find anything,

as for your other suggestions, i was able to play it 2 months ago, so it cannot be hardware or software related as i was playing it before. so there is nothing wrong with my system is there?

RAM Sticks can become FUBAR somewhat instantly.

Test your RAM, check your HD, check your drivers.

Drivers: Go to the website of the manufacturers of your hardware and download the most recent ones for your Operating System.

HD: do a chkdsk /f and a goood defrag.

RAM: Microsoft made a RAM testing program once, otherwise google for memtest. Download and test your RAM.
