Windows button + alt + enter
Not sure if that solves it, but try it anyways.

Ive been doing that for years, is all good if you don't have programs running, from my experiences

Just open the game options, set res to smaller than your desktop, click ok then reset it to the desktop res all IN GAME.

If you wanna do windows mode, set res to smaller than desktop and than alt+windows key + enter. It will be perfect res for windows mode.

i have my CompTIA A+ certification.. you will have a longer life on your pc not doing that.. also the less you restart it the better.. you do more damage starting it then you do leaving it on..
