I was having this problem where i could be playing the game and it would out of no where kick me out and a screen with a bunch of ?????? would pop up well i did these steps and it worked.


????? Error:
Driver issue(s).
-Update all drivers including sound and graphics.
-Update DirectX to 9.0c.
-Download any updates from Microsoft Update.
-Check to make sure that your Windows resolution setting matches your Silkroad in-game resolution settings.

*To find the specific drivers needed for your system, go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer or the website of the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer: Dell, Compaq, Gateway, Lenovo, etc) and then find the "Downloads" section. Select your make/model/version, then you can find a list of driver that you need as well as a download link. You are not yet done however, as these drivers are probably out of date. Next, you need to take the name of driver (such as "SiS Accelerated AGP"), and google for the company name (Example: SiS). After finding the company website, you need to download the specific driver ("Accelerated AGP"). You will need to repeat this process for every single driver.
*In addition, many drivers will have specific installation steps and instructions. Ensure that you follow them.

when you go to the windows update screen theres high priority and custom make sure u update all from both!!!!!!! HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU TOO!

I just add my own experience.

I had this error a lot, I tried a lot of things. My problem was with my graphic card (nvidia 6600 GT).

To solve it, I just use the nvidia drivers provided on the silkroad website, in the downloads section, not the latests ones from nvidia, which didn't work for the ???? error.

Weird, but worked for me.

I get it too often, so im getting a new graphics card in a few days... hoping it will fix it xD

try to use all joymax driver it used to help
but a router or modem reboot is better
