Hi guys, im having the exact same problem. Somebody pls help :S I was able to play SRO a year ago with my previous video card. It was far weaker then my present one, but there was no problem. Now I want to strat again, but i cant cuz every single time i log in, the game suddenly exits and I get this message:

Image

I ve already:
-updated my video card driver
-updated directX
-updated java
-NET framework too...
-did windows update

And the game still exits, Im still getting the message... I ve browsed across the internet for a solution, but I havent find one yet... Oh and I have no problem running other MMO-s with better graphics like Cabal online or JadeDinasty, so I dont know what could the problem be...
I have lowered my resolution to minimum, still not working... Somebody pls help, I want to play :S

I think it has something to do with HAL (Hardware accelaeration layer) so the layer between directX and your video card.

Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the VGA Compatible device,
Action menu, "Uninstall", (do Not put a check in 'delete driver") then
Restart
Action menu,"scan for hardware changes", to find the device drivers again
automatically.
