I had 5.2 mil in my storage box this morning, I played around 6:30 EST and added 100k to the gold in there, well it is 4pm EST and logged back on only to see all of my gold is gone, this was for my guild to level up with. I am so pissed right now.
What can be done anything or am I just Fu$%ed out of that gold?
This is such BS I am about to give up playing this game.

You got hacked because of 4 possible things:

1-you downloaded some bots and did have a keylogger.

2-you did give someone your account/pass.

3-you have some spyware in your computer.

4-and last you didn't use a good username/password so it was easy to guess.

the computer that character is on only goes online to play this game, it is a spare comp. freshly formatted before installing silkroad

the name and pass get changed every week.

I am hoping joymax can find an ip I did email them with the times I was on today as well as my ip.

there must be some way of finding out who the asshole is. If I find out I am going to hunt their sorry ass down and kill them.


I just finished running my AV and trogan programs they had nothing there, same with my Adaware program all clean.
there has to be a way to find out who did this.

Are you talking about your personal storage or the guild warehouse storage?

personal storage, I set up a character for my giuld to have storage before the guild storage was complete.
Last time they got both my characters, this time just my cuild storage character.

So you've been hacked twice? That's strange. Suggest a full reformat of your hard drive and reinstallation of Windows. If it's not a real life friend dicking with you, it may be a keylogger that your sweeps aren't detecting because of its silkroad-specific nature.

thats what sucks I did reformat just before installing the game, I only use that comp for the game. not even a month ago.
As for a real life so called friend, he already did that to my Athens character,thats why I change the password weekly.
oh well I guess I will reformat the comp again.
If it happens again I am all done with the game it is not worth it, I had to restart cause of the so called friend I will not say his name cause I dont want this post deleted. I have 4 level 30-32 char and hated restarting.

any suggestion on programs that may find the keylogger? I would much rather try that first than reformat.

With this 3 stuff your PC will be 100% protected.

If you change your pass every week you must have keylogger so somewon can see when you change it.

Best Protect is to make complete new account with new e-mail everything. Make LOGIN name hard to crack and long (min 10 char) - pass also make really long with letters and numbers in it.

HijackThis also works very nicely in finding corrupted or unusual registry entries and others.

alredy got norton internet securety.

yes all of them are free except for nod32 i think its on trial base but i wud suggest getting original copies buy it if possible coz some migh not support real time scan up to u ur choice

I've heared rumours that the silkroadonline.net site isn't totally secure, and that's why people who change their password often are getting hacked... I think a good idea if this is the case would be to come up with a really good password and stick with it, so that you only ever tpye it again in the client.

Is there any way that this "freind" would know the answer to your secret question as he could have gone into "forgotten password" entered the answer and change the password to the account.....did you find that your password had to be changed after this hacking attempt?
