sro using linux

Post by monkey289 »

If I use linux (using ubuntu atm) to load silkroad.exe with wine, the launcher loads and all, but the start button, updates etc don't pop up at all, I switch to windows and it does? Does anyone know why? Or is silkroad stupidly defiant about being windows only? :P

Their is no Linux version.. SRO is created for Windows. If you really want to try it in linux try whine or wine ( how ever ya spell it ) to run it.

I tried installing it with wine and I got as far as hitting "install" then it just disappeared. I don't think I had enough space on my virtual drive c or something, but i don't know how to make it bigger.
