silkroad wont load for me

yeah hi i resently downloaded silkoad (looks like a great game) but it wont start up when i press start i keep getting this wheard warning. the title of the error is D3D9 application and its telling me that the refrence rendering device was selected but my computer only has reduced functionality refrence device installed and to install the directX SDK to get the full refrence device.

then a error pops up saying generic application error enable debug output for deatiled infomation the prograb will now exit.

also heres my computer specs

ok it isnt listed on that error this is my grapcics card:

intel(R) 82810 graphics controller (microsoft corperation) i dunno if that might be the problem...if someone could give me a link to upgrade this it would be greatly appresheated

i also get this error after all that

any help would be great thanks

Update your DirectX drivers to the latest version.

hm..i downloaded it...and i installed it...ill try to download again...is the directX thing thats on the main site?

Yeah, DirectX is needed for pretty much every single 3D game on your PC. It's an absolute necessity, just like having the latest drivers for your graphics card is.

So make sure you get both. :]

ok i redownloaded and installed *fingers crossed* it better work or else! :banghead:

EDIT: well it didnt work...but i THINK im downloading the direct X SDK...the thing that is sais in the first error

Happened to me...those question marks were in chinese (has chinese version) I clicked the left button and it worked right after that.

*sigh* got rid of 1 problem but got a new 1...its simple really...it wont load the SRO_Client is on but the windows task maniger said its no responding...thi is begining to annoy me

good news and bad news peeps...good first... i got it working woooo!!!...bad...for some resion even though its working VERY SLOWLY the windows task maneger said its not responding
