Hello and well met

some of you for a second time

Back in july I got the same error and noone could figure it out. I waited till after the europe update and everything to try again.

I download the most RECENT version of the game from silkroadonline.net from multiple sources

I install the game and update it via the launcher.

When I hit "start" the window closes and a few seconds later I get the error {Please execute the "silkroad.exe"}

To answer your first question I used the launcher not sro_client.exe If I hit sro_client.exe I get the same error.

Secondly I used different installations from different websites and installed into different directories.

Thirdly I have no firewall installed nor any antivirus active

Any help would be appreciated

Intel Core 2 T5500 1.66ghz
Intel 945gm 128mb graphics (integrated)
1gb ram

Have you tried restarting your computer cause that worked for me when I got this error ^^

i have the same problem today. I was playing sro and got dc >.>. I had to manually restart my laptop because the sro wasn't closing down for me. After that i haven't been able to get back into the game. everytime i start it get this error. i tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it but it doesn't even allow me to reinstall it. Everytime i try to reinstall it, it gives me an internet explorer error and closes my download window down. I'm so confused. Never had this problem before. Have gotten dc hundreds of times but never this problem.
