Is it possible to set the game to render less players on the screen at once? I'm having a hard time getting through towns with 500+ people being rendered all at the same time, gotta keep the camera aimed at the ground for best speed. Also, is there a way to do this but at the same time make it possible to see players at a longer distance?

Change graphics to medium. Or shadow detail to medium and lower character draw distance.

The ingame setings don't seem to change the amount of players it shows at once. I could try messing with the settings again but I'm sure it will be the same.
