i start up log in, walk around for like 5 minutes then i d/c and get the ???? i edited my host file, any ideas?

don't edit them, undo your edits.. the only reason for adding them to the host files is if you want to bot..

but i read some other guide and it said to edit them when u get th ???? error...



nvm i think i read the wrong guide. Ill see if i fixed it.

nope still getting the ???. Some people said to turn off sound to turn off your firewall , and ive done this.

1. Put your display mode to 1024x768 or 1280x1024, both windows and silkroad
2. Put it to 32-bit, (windows itself)
3. try some older drivers, take this one first: here
4. Latest direct-x?
5. did you overclock your graphics card? (doubt it, but still)

well i tried that ressolution thing, and the 32 bit, but why would i need to download older drivers, and i connected once and didn't d/c, but went to town and every time i try to connect to the char, i d/c. I think it has to do with my video card, because there so many people intown i d/c, but when im walking it takes longer, and when im just standing it takes even longer.

Can someone please help me, ive tried everything, changing resolution, turning off my fire wall, clearing my temporary files, closeing everything in the background please help me!

That's why I told you to try older drivers, they aren't so heavy, that way your graphics card will have less load.. Also try lowering all the settings of sro.

I formated, so my computer ownz again, it works now, and i don't lag anymore, quick fix
