Really weird keyboard problems (keys get switched around)

Post by Advancechao »

I recently made a European character and have been playing for one week. For the most part, Europe's party system is really fun and a nice change from the 24/7 soloing of China. But I've been getting crazy errors with the keyboard. While training, I sometimes find that my keys are switched around, making it impossible to type. For example, when I try to type

asdf

It gives me

aoeu.

It's the most annoying glitch ever. Since I am in parties a lot, not being able to type anything but garbled nonsense is aggravating, to say the least. Typing the word "Yeah" gives "F.ad" instead! And I'm pretty sure that it's not my computer's fault. I currently have Silkroad open while I am typing this post and there are no typing problems. Only the Silkroad application has this dumb bug. Does anyone know how to fix it? I have a Dell Inspiron laptop, by the way.

Have you tried uninstalling the client then reinstalling it? That might fix it.
