Help plz my com keeps switching off when i play

my com kepps switching off when i play.
I play for 10 to 30 mins then my comp over heats
what should i do.
i downloaded silkroad repeatedly and still the same thing

If you know your computer is overheating, then that's a serious problem you need to solve. What part is specifically overheating? Processor or video card? Is there good airflow through your case? A fan at one end pulling air in, and a fan at the other blowing air out? The fan blowing out should be near your power supply if possible, otherwise you have all the heat from the power supply blowing past the rest of the components before it leaves the case. Are you overclocking?
Basically, if you're not overclocking, and your computer has good airflow around it, your hardware probably just can't handle the game. Or maybe you live in the desert without air conditioning.

Overheating is a hardware issue as The MasterofCakes (:P) pointed out.
Make sure you are not overclocking anything, that the fans are working correctly and are free of dust.
