So my Q is what is more inportant for the fast tels less lag if you have a great conn but the pc is :


Ram:256
Video:Gforce mx 440
CPU:celeron 1.7

lol buy a new computer dude....with a setup like that your FPS probably wont go much higher than 25 and it will gradually decline as your system runs out of memory. This can be fixed by increasing the size of your paging file. However that will only delay the decline of your FPS for a matter of minutes.

Seriously the best thing u can do is buy a new computer...that stuff is wayyyy outdated.

then as long as you have a good connection you'll be fine

SRY i forgot to say that i am playing the game for ~ 2 years and befor the update i could palay for hours (lieke 5) and no problem , i could die and it reserected me for 2 min max with strong lag in the city and no out side

But now the login screen is laging , if i die it lags like sh** every were,
even if i have no lag when i come to like 3 ~ 4 players grinding it lags for 4 or 5 sec ,cant make any trades or thief runs coz npc use skills and with 5 * they are many.


So my real Q is if I upgrade the RAM and the video like :

RAM:1gb
video: g force fx 5200

Would this be enough to make things as they were .


PS : a new pc is not un option i am low on cash

Well ur running on Celeron 1.7 .. quite old.. so if u gonna jus upgrade ur Memory and Video card... ur processor speed will still b slow.. and more chances of heating up..... so more lag

Before u do anything drastic you should clean up your drive a bit.

Run anti virus and defrag it

But really if you want the game to perform better your gona need to upgrade your memory to at least 512MB.

The processor is probably ok because this game really isnt that dependant on a powerful processor. (If your usin lower settings)

If you upgrade your Video card that will probably improve things but that card is fine. Same one I used to have in my old Dell computer and it ran SRO fine.

tnx for all the help i cleaned it by reinstalling the OS and i got 1 GB of ram .

I must say that it is so good compered to 256 .
No lag in Hotan ,teling for 2-3 sec no dieing from lag .
Cant stop playing
