I don't see how 2gb is "so much space "

Well probably not possible, maybe some tweaks with the registry stuff but lol don't do it unless a pro is helping you

just install the game at D driver for example.. not ur main driver or you can just copy the folder to the D driver
Then make sure change all the shortcuts on desktop for etc 's target

ummm, if they are trying to hide the install, wouldn't it be pointless to use a desktop shortcut? :banghead:

Other method more high-tech

  1. Click Start
  2. Run
  3. type regedit then press enter
  4. search for silkroad in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
  5. delete the folder silkroad

There u go

wOw .. all u guys are suggesting to uninstall..... which means everytime he wants to play then he has to install the game :P which would end up in the same location
Ideally, u hav to make changes to ur registry settings to remove SRO from add / remove programs - Not recommended

As a alternative, as u r parents say it consumes more space.. u can install the game on another drive which has more space.. instead of ur defult C Drive...... generally C drive wuld contain ur program files and all other folders .. so lots of chances of ur hard drive getting full pretty fast.

Ok this is wat i did and doin..
Created a separate partition of 15GB .. jus for SRO and other games.. and installed SRO to this drive.... and im doin perfectly 5ne for the past 10 months 8)

Hope this helps.

Read carefully. What he should do, and I believe he has so already, is make a copy of the game folder, then uninstall the game. He can now execute the game without having to have it actually installed onto the computers registry.
