Mac help

I have a mac,Well its not really a mac i'm using a program called FLYAKITE OSX.
With the bar down the bottom every time i star sro up the bar will stay there and keep flashing and flashing.No way to get rid of it and it is the bar that i find very handy to put programs in so that you can get to them quickly.
