Can't see lots of text, replaced with SQUARES

Does anyone know a way to fix my problem?
I can see the chat box just fine and other people's stalls but the problem is, i can't see the actual game graphics that show you what the NPC's are or what they're saying. I also can't see any of my item stats except the + #s. I also can't see the friggin menu or party screen, skill screen, message log .... all those menus, basically, all the text has become squares -.-
Anyone know a fix? Thanks

Did u set the language to English?
Do this, before u click START, go to options and set the language to ENGLISH and then launch the game.
Incase if u have already done this, do it once more

Well this is what it DID look like, but setting it to english even though it was already there made go back so thank you truez

This is a big issue with Botters.... Bot Client are the ones going through tthis trouble;
Yes it is the language setting u need to change

It does not necessarily mean that he/she is botting. It was a common problem and still is, end of discussion. However, how would you know? Unless your a botter that had encountered the problem before

yeah try doing this, go to your silkroad folder and remove The thing that says SilkroadGlobal configuration settings. That should do the trick

im pretty sure that has nothing to do with it
just open the client, click options, and select english again, like other ppl said

do exactly what he says cuz i had same problem as you when the euro version came out. just cet language to english even if the setting for language is already on english, do it anyways, then hit the big Start button, log in if you can without traffic xD, and wa lah, no more squared text.
