Hi SROF.

I got a serious problem here that i need help with..

Well, i was grinding perfectly like usual until i got disconnected from server.

The problem is that when i try to log back in I can't.

A message will appear saying

" The user is alread connected. in a case that the user was forced to exit due to error, it can be checked as still connected. Please try again 5 minutes later. "

i've waited 5 hours now -.-... wth...

if anyone here can help me out. I'll appreciate it alot.

two options
#1 quite common
since you were disconnected the server still has u registered as online
wait like 5 minutes and it will work... maybe
or #2 your screwed someone hacked you

I don't think i was hack. One of my cousin plays SRO with me and he told me mine been offline for a while now. My pass has not been change yet and every info of my account is still same. As for option #1. I've waited hours and hours now LOL...

Well if anyone else can help me. I'll greatly appreciate it.

I have the same problem and I was NOT hacked. I'm not logged in and my friends all see me as offline as well. It's been 15 hours hours for me and same error message over and over again. I've posted a message on the official sro forum and sent in a bug report because apparently 4 days ago there was a patch for this error.

Update me on how things go for you and if/when you can log in.

OK.. you do the same too. I really want to get back into playing SRO -.-.

Nope, almost 24 hours now. Everyone's telling me I'll probably have to wait until server maintenance or an emergency server inspection when everyone's dced from the server. I've never wanted an emergency server inspection so bad. I'm on Troy server, let me know how things go for you guys!

OMFG.... day... i don't even know now. This better be fixed tomorrow night during system maintenance...!!! Yeah I read the patch update too, and obviously it didn't work. littleowner are you kidding me? Log out of the site? Ok I don't think we're complete without out scruples. I don't even log INTO the site except to buy silk. And then I immediatley log back out. AHHHHHHHH!
AHHHHH I'm so sick of waiting and there goes days of premium. I also sent in some bug reports and asked for compensation. Not likely that we'll receive any though.

i guess it'll work after inspection.. better or else.........or else .

Try making sure that the game is not still running in the background and not showing in the task bar or anything.

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE then click the tab Processes and make sure there is nothing labeled sro_client.exe

That used to happen to me on another online RPG and it was just running in the background the whole time.

but with this happening to a lot of people its probably a server side bug.. but I'm trying to help anyway I can.

"Silkroad online". Its a bug. At first i thought it was my computer and my internet connections. But it turns out to be the game itself only.
again. hoping inspections will fix it. >.<

It should be fixed by the server maintenance, since I think they pull the servers down for that purpose. What causes this is that either your computer or one of the NAT routers in between keeps the TCP connection alive. If it's your own router that causes this, a reset of your router or internet modem might also do the trick.
