ok, when gameguard starts i get a few korean letters followed by (9)

silkroad official tech page says its somethign to do with a firewall blocking the game.

i definently do not have a firewall on, and the game connected with no trouble at all before a patch this morning. Anybody got any ideas? i would use the official but past experience has shown me they dont like to reply.
