Ok im not too sure if anyone can help me but

ive not been able to play silkroad becasue of a error i get when i update, something about replacer.exe file is damaged and error code 193. Ive searched the other topics and have only seen one soloution and thats swap the replacer file for one thats been uploaded, well i tryed that and it didnt work so maby im missing something? ive deleted silkroad completly from my pc then installed it again, didnt work, checked for spyware etc and still nothing. Running windows xp and have updated drivers etc. THanks for any help or at least a reply haha

Try running it as administrator.

You must upload new exe ..But dont take the same exe you download before ..

ive downloaded the client several times already and the same things happining, it must be something to do with windows or something casue no one else really seems to be havin this problem

And where you download it..? olmost always when it said file is damaged so is something wrong whit the exe..

What are the chances of the file that comes with the client being damaged several times which i downloaded from the site, then downloading a copy which a individual has uploaded and it having problems to, and eh on this page there are guide topics and one was talking about the replacer file being corupt and it gave you a link to the file. Ive also downloaded the file from somewhere else but i cant remember where

Ask nightbloom I belive she had good link to download the sro exe...
And I never heard about some replacer file for real hmm

it cant be the file thats corrupt casue if it was why isnt anyone else getting the error? its something to do with my pc, thanks for the idea anyway
